about
Client: P2S, Software(s): Adobe: Illustrator & XD
P2S is a leading engineering company renowned for its innovative solutions across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, technology, construction, and sustainability sectors. However, their website lacked a cohesive user journey that captured P2S as a company. The primary challenge was to revamp the website that captured the meaningful stories behind the projects the company has worked on and showcased their expertise. Additionally, the website needed to entice prospective clients to collaborate with P2S in the future.
role
I wore many hats for this project as I led the redesign of the website with our clients and users in mind, collaborated with the Art Director and strategy team, and teamed up with our developer to execute the work.

Lacked a valuable journey for internal employees as well as clients
Did not showcase the company’s projects and experiences
It was difficult to navigate through the site without getting lost
Did not have cohesive user flow on mobile and desktop
users & research
The company's main users are engineers, architects, contractors, and business clients. To understand each stakeholders’ needs and preferences, we conducted extensive research which involved analyzing competitor websites through a competitive audit and working closely with our engineers for user testing. We found that it was crucial to provide proper navigation that guided the users from problem to solution without overwhelming them with an excessive amount of projects. We need to create a flow where users can easily locate specific solutions beneficial to their industry.
main goal
The main goal was to showcase P2S’ stories and previous projects effectively through a creative experience, engaging users and prospective clients. We need to add elements that move throughout the page with the user, to enhance their experience. The previous site lacked easy accessibility across various platforms and an attractive design, so our focus is to design a user-centric site that is adaptable.
ideation & process
Design workshops and sprints were conducted to generate several concepts that could lead to our final goal. During the design process, we kept stakeholders and management in the loop as well as performed usability testing to validate design decisions. This allowed us to refine any detail of the website to best fit our users.
A Few Challenges:
Throughout the process, we discovered it was challenging to find a middle ground between simplistic but dynamic design. Since we wanted to step back from the website’s more basic layout, we needed to find a way to keep users engaged not only through our various projects but in how we showcased each project.
Adding a new layer of advanced design can be beneficial and amusing to users within the younger age range but can confuse the older age group.
Would adding more explainer videos to keep it visually pleasing be better than just a photo and accompanying text?
If so, would the Stakeholders be inclined to put more money into producing more graphic content for the website?
During user testings, some users did not know how to navigate to the next section on a design layout we were excited in using, should we implement more areas of instruction or completely change the layout?
final design
After months of research and dedication to the website, in December 2022, we were able to share to our clients and to the rest of the world our new P2S website. As there were many challenges, there were also many “aha!” moments when we found a solution to our problems. We stayed true to our goal of adding more engaging elements to the site by including videos, photos, and graphics instead of lifeless text. Also reached a middle ground where all users can enjoy the site without difficulty in navigating.
What’s Next?
The P2S website is consistently changing, whether it’s tweaking a few pages to be more user friendly or creating a whole new layout for a new upcoming campaign. We’re constantly seeking feedback to see how we can better the site for our users.
impact & data
The redesign of the website was successful for the company, now being able to showcase their projects to their clients and users effectively. User engagement metrics were enhanced, with increased time spent on the website and reduced bounce rates. We’ve received great feedback from clients to this day when we come out with new website campaigns that circle around the same focus we had during the beginning of the redesign, finding the site to be intuitive and engaging.
After the website redesign, the number of social media visitors to the P2S website has grown by 1200% YoY and the engagement on the website increased by an average of 30%+ with new potential clients completing the form submission by 43% while the average website session increased with users staying 76.54% longer on the pages!
