Poly-Kroma is a student exhibition held at Cal Poly Pomona where graduating seniors showcase their portfolios. Each year, a committee is formed to create new designs, concept, and collateral for that year’s exhibition. Poly-Kroma 2020’s theme was ‘Coexistence.’

Poly-Kroma is a collaborative effort amongst Cal Poly Pomona Visual Communication students. The process in creating an exhibition takes a significant amount of time and effort. We first lay out several concepts we want for the show. This year, ‘Coexistence’ was chosen as the theme. After, we each provide a set of posters that communicate the theme and collectively choose the strongest ones. We then pick apart the poster and come back with another set of posters with enhanced changes.
After months of debating on the perfect poster, we then choose the most valued design and begin applying it to collateral. Multiple cycles of revisions play in the role of creating an exhibition but with diligent team work, the team is able to execute a well thought out showcase for the graduating seniors.
